Hi folks. I'm planning to make a 4 tier wedding caked with buttercream and fondant. I'm a bit nervous about the cake itself, as I'm hoping that it tastes good but more importantly is soft but has the strength to hold the frostings. I would like to request direction as to what recipes would be good. What are your favorites? It could be a white cake, yellow cake, chiffon, sponge, etc. Suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.
