a ready made cake topper made out of gum paste? I just finished it last night and is dry. Do I need to store it in a plastic bag? The party is in 2 weeks.

Put it in a cardboard box - basically you want to keep any dust etc off it but don't put in plastic of similar air tight box/wrapping as any moisture trapped with it will soften it (even if it seems dry now).
