Bc For Cupcake Bouquets?

I am making several cupcake bouquets and I need a good icing recipe that will keep the flower shape and withstand any slight bumps. I don't want the hardness of RI but normal crusting buttercream is still delicate especially during transport. I would love to do something in between RI and BC. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.
