I have been doing cakes for friends and family for a few years trying to get better with each cake. I give my daughter's in-laws a reduced price but they still think I charge too much so they decided they'd log onto CC and tackle a couple of birthday cakes on their own. Soooo, I get a call from my daughter this afternoon - her SIL's have just spent the last three days doing her niece's birthday cake and WILL NOT be doing another cake so guess who get's to do the next BDay cake! Yep, that would be me! Their words to my DD, "No wonder your mom charges so much for her cakes!" Cake muggles - just gotta love them!! Oh, and I only charge $2 a serving but reduce it even more for them! Go figure!!
