I know this isn't cake related, but thought it was a cool idea. Just would like to have a pumpkin pie recipe to use in it. Anyone have one ?

I have used the recipe on the can every year for the past 11 years at our annual pie sale and it gets rave reviews. I use the ONEPIE brand and the recipe calls for molasses.
How cute is that!!! I love that idea! You have my mind going 50 mph now.
A good place to look for recipes is Allrecipes.com
Thanks a million for posting that!!!
Very cute idea! I have two kids in college who will be getting pies in jars to take back with them after Thanksgiving. No big pie to transport or store.
I love this idea! Ive seen the cookie in a jar, with all the dry ingredients but this one is even better!
Here are some Thanksgiving and Christmas labels, that you can print off and use.

OK for some reason it added more to the address then what I posted, and it won't let me change it. Anyway copy the address, then delete after the 1st. PDF, I didn't add the rest of that anyhow. It should open up for you then.
Good luck
Love it thanks! Please let us know if anybody tired it! I'm curious about the crust consistency...
That's a pretty cute idea! And really you could do any pie in the jar. I can't wait for Thanksgiving! All that super yummy food!

I sent you all of my cuppy cakes in a jar info!
Oh my gosh, I am so excited by this, thank you for sharing! I love all things in jars, don't know why, just find it super cute I can't wait to add these to my arsenal, I so already ordered my set of cutters from William-Sonoma (love that store) http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/b315/?pkey=xsrd0m1%7C16%7C%7C%7C0%7C%7C%7C%7C%7C%7C%7Cfall%20leaves%20piecrust%20cutters&cm_src=SCH they are a little pricy, but I searched and couldn't find any others like them, so cute, had to have them!
Thanks again, I hope everyone who tries these will share their results! Oh and the blog you posted is great, added it to my favorites, so my stlye lovin' it! Andrea
Here's a similar (contained) pie idea I saw recently: http://luxirare.com/thanksgiving-part-i/
