Can You Stack Your Tiers Before Freezing?

Has anyone ever stacked their tiers before freezing a cake? I have a wedding cake the day after Christmas and plan to make the cake the week before Christmas. I thought out of four tiers I could maybe stack 2 and 2 for the freezer space it would save. What do you think? thanks!
