I am working on a design for 40th birthday cake for a man who has worked for Ford for a long time, the customer wants it and "40" incorporated into the cake.
I was thinking of doing the Ford Emblem but instead of it reading "Ford" it would read" Fordy" ?
It would be in the same font and style as the Ford emblem just with an added "y" so it sounds like forty.

Are you solid on wanting to do just the emblem as the cake....what if you did the view of the back of a truck that was around 40 years ago? You dont have to do this 3D it can be flat....oh you could even stick small balloon lights (you can get these in the Wedding section at Michaels) and stick them where the brake/tail lights would be. Sure to instantly please. The tail gate could have fordy but at least it wouldnt be the only focal point in case he is sensitive about his midlife age.
