SweetNSassy..did you notice this thread was 3 years old? No matter. I just pulled 36 delicious red velvet WASC cuppies out. I bake at 325 and then check. It was strange because I was using 2 different brands/types of liners. One was done at 20 min..the other took 23.

Wow....this is old!   How things have changed.   I use a commercial oven now.  My new problem is how ugly the fan makes my cupcakes turn out.     Damn cupcakes are evil!

yeah but you cover them with delicious frosting so looks aren't as important as a cake that you have to smooth frost

I know...but I'm so anal (guess it's a military thang)....i like the pretty cupcakes that come out of the oven with a nice dome.

I'm just about to start adapting the WASC varieties into all sorts of cupcakes. I love my cupcakes to have a dome top. Even if this is an old thread, every little bit I read still helps.
