Sorry if this has been asked before...

I made a DH cake with Sam's BC w/MMF decorations tonight (sunday)... My mom wants to serve it on Wednesday (she needs to travel with it 2 hours away tomorrow)... should it be refrigerated? I've been researching this and I'm thinking that it would be okay (at room temp), but my mom wants to refrigerate it. Even if I put it in the fridge tonight, then she'd have to travel with it tomorrow so I'm worried about cold, then room temp, then cold again. Any thoughts?

Neither of your frostings require refrigeration. Unless you filled with something perishable, you only need to keep the cake covered (not airtight, just to keep dust/debris off of it).
