which pan is better if at all? I just got a few new Fat Daddio's...making cakes as we speak. But I just came across MagicLine for a pan that I would like to add.

What is your preference?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Magic Line, hands down. Especially for square pans-they have no equal in that area.

I just bought my first set of magic line round 2" pans, and so far I really like them. The rest of my pans are wilton. I'm very happy with how flat the cake bakes up, and the edged are straight.

Magic Line.

I have one Fat Daddio. I hate it. It sucks. It is always the last pan I reach for. It is a prinsess. It has to have special treatment. The only thing good about it is the name.

Yanno, I have to admit I really love my Betty Crocker Bake N Fill Pan. I was given a set ages ago from a co-worker who found it at a garage sale and gave it to me because she thought I could use it. And she's right! I've used it for every kind of cake I can think of, including cheesecake, and never had a problem at all. Cakes always bake evenly in it.

I use it all the time to make "Pinata" cakes, where I fill the cavity with candy instead of filling. Every kid at my niece's school and Sunday school think it's the coolest thing ever icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif
