I am officially open for biz starting this January - although the owner wants to give me December for free......nevertheless......

Any advice? I am so excited about this, but a little nervous, of course. What words of wisdom can you offer me?
Do's and don'ts.....or watch out's?

Anything you strongly recommend I do or don't do or make sure I am covered about?

Thanks. I am really curious about other people's experiences when they first started versus being in business for awhile.

After I posted before, I said that name is so familiar, I think I've talked to this person before. I went back into my pm's an lo and behold there you were from June or July. We talked about those beautiful butterflies you made. I am in south Jersey, about 40 minutes from AC. pm directions to your shop when you get a chance. Again congrats! princess.gif

Do you think that by me being by appointment only, then it would be easier?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ deposits and money up front. If you have to ask yourself, "Do I really want to make this cake, the person has already been trouble?" Back away slowly then turn and run like the wind. You know those people that just talking with them make you think something is not right.

Best of luck and have a safe and fun time with the biz.

Congrats!! icon_biggrin.gif
