I have only ever made my own BC with pretty much shortening, ps, and vanilla. I recently bought some creme bouquet flavoring to try. But what does Bettercream taste like?

And while on the subject of bc, anyone know what is in WalMart's bakery bc that makes it taste slightly different?

In my opinion, bettercreme doesn't really have much of a taste...you pretty much add your own flavoring to it...closest thing I can compair it to is whipped cream

I think bettercreme tastes a lot like CoolWhip. You know, all chemically.

i think it's worse than cool whip but yes, chemically and sweet. it really coated the back of my throat, pleh!

The prewhipped bettercreme is nasty, but the liquid version is num num num!! Especially if you know what to do with it. I have gotten the nickname "The Bettercreme Queen" around here. There is a complete thread about it, and I created a google doc for it as well. If you're interested check it out:
