A lot of people paint fondant accents or royal with gold color. I need to do a white and gold cake for this weekend, and I'm having trouble getting a gold color. I have gold luster dust, lots of yellow food colors, as well as gold. Can anyone help me how to achieve a gold effect? Thanks in advance. icon_rolleyes.gif

I have found that the best gold color is achieved by painting the luster dust onto brown.
