Just had to share I met Aine2 yesterday at Cake International. I was sooo excited just like meeting a celebrity (which of course she is ), she was demonstrating her beautiful figures and I'd just missed it, but she was so kind and explained how the mouths are made (which is what I was struggling with) I can't wait to try it out tonight. The photos of her work show her brilliance but up close it's just jaw dropping, no wonder everyone wanted to know if she uses moulds.

right now I've got these cushion things (Aine uses foam) I've made from modelling paste with a head shape indentation in them so I can rest the head in while I model the front. I always used to put the detail on upright and wondered why it was so fiddly I hope these work ok until I can get some foam or something similar.
