I have looked for awhile trying to find a post for this topic but I get a MILLION other posts and am getting no where.

I am just wondering what people are charging for a delivery fee (and set up fee). I am making a wedding cake in a few weeks. We were invited to the wedding so I wasn't going to charge anything for delivery bc we were going to be driving there anyways.... but now we are NOT going to the wedding and the site is 1 hour and 17 minutes away (ONE WAY) .... about 55 miles (ONE WAY). I am just wondering what other people would charge.

Please give me some advice!!! Thanks in advance!

Most people charge about $1 a mile/ roundtrip because it's wear and tear on your vehicle, gas, and your time. You would be working on something else if you weren't driving over an hour each way.

I think set up is just included in the cost of the cake - although some people charge money to put fresh flowers on the cake.

Hope this helps.
