I am new to this and I am having to make a 3d cake of a horse for my little sister's birthday. I was thinking about doing the body in cake and the head in rkt....

are there any tips I can get or techniques even before I start this cake! Thanks!

thank you for that! I don't have the money to buy the pan however so I will be sculpting everything!

I did one but it was not standing it was jusr a sheet cut out, It should be in my pictures, I used a my little pony color book. its more 2d I guess. not brave enough fot the standing up icon_smile.gif

Well, this little 3D horse is a fondant topper, but you can really see how he's put together. Might help you sculpt something similar out of cake or RKT's:
