I am getting really tired of making display cakes that are of 3 tier round or square variety- I would love to showcase more of what I can do- anyone have suggestions on where to buy/how to easily make other shaped dummies? I'm talking like topsyturvy, or like the concave and tapered tiers, etc...Thanks!

You can buy topsy turvy kinds and also order custom dummies from www.**********.com , I believe...

Or I saw on Ace of Cakes where they just cut all their own dummies out of blocks of styrofoam.

I also sculpt and carve florist oasis to get a more unusual cake shape or model as it is really easy to sculpt and very light weight. all i do is cover it in cling wrap once it is carved and it is ready to decorate in whatever covering you use icon_smile.gif
