I've decided that I have to take a week off from anything baking or having to do with cake decorating. I've made literally 20 cakes over the last 2 weeks and that's on top of my 40-50 hours a week Project Manager job. Plus of course taking care of my daughter. I absolutely love decorating cakes but my word I'm burnt out. Anyone else ever feel like they need a break from it all?

Breathe in .... breathe out .... breathe in .... breathe out .... breathe in .... take a drink .... breathe out.

Enjoy the break. Sounds like you deserve one. thumbs_up.gif

I have taken the last week off! It has felt so good to just breathe and relax! It helps to walk away from it from time to time.

Oh, Yeah...I had my first Saturday with no tasting appts in about 3 weeks today, and even though I had to bake a cake and deliver 2 wedding cakes, it felt like a vacation! I'm looking forawrd to the "slow" wedding season in December!
