Hi I was wondering how to get my fondant figures to stick! I'm making a cake that will have fondant flower cutouts on it! Do you use water to stick it them to the cake?

I've used water, vanilla, gumpaste glue and small amount of tylose mixed in water to adhere things to the side. For the bigger heavier pieces I use the tylose.

If you cake is frosted in buttercream you can just stick them right to the cake. If your cake is covered in fondant, then follow Mallakin's advice above.

I use royal icing as glue - if it's tiny details that wont cover the icing blobs I use water o edible glue
