I am trying to make my sons birthday cake and the base tier is a 14" round - i am not sure how much cake mix i need and i need uk measurments as everytime i use cups the cake fails. If anyone could let me know how many eggs i need i think i can work out the rest. Any help would be greatly appreciated. also what temp 160 or 180c and how long! basically i eed a dummy guide for a brit lol.
I need the cakes to be cooked today as my sons birthday is sunday!

Thanks in advance, waiting hopefully at the computer!!!

2299.2 grams of batter (this is for 1 layer of the cake, what goes in 1 pan)

160 deg C

about 40 minutes
