A friend is wanting a cake or two cakes for her daughters birthdays. Saints versus 49ers, possibly small helmets, yet girly? I have ideas for helmets but not sure how to make it girly. Any suggestions? Thought about two helmets, each one on a base cake. Or one large cake with the two helmets on it.

I don't think there is anything girly about football other than cheer leaders.....if they like those teams, then use those teams to decorate....thats a tuff one

Why don't you do big daisies in the team colors with the contrasting colors for the flower centers all over the cake? The helmets can be sitting on top.

The NFL has a line of apparel for women that is totally awesome. They have pink team logos and such. If you go to nfl . com and look under ladies apparel, you'll find some more feminine ideas there.

I was going to suggest the pink logo items (someone gave our daughter a pink Bears shirt).

My other suggestion is making a cheerleader for each team to go on the base cakes.
