What other flowers can I make? Turns out that it is MILs brthday tomorrow ( I had no idea) and I'm making the cake (again, I had no idea) She loves flowers and pink so DH wants fondant flowers but I'm pretty sick of making roses and I don't have time (t-minus 20 hours) to buy any new cutters. Any other ideas?

I don't know how to improvise with the cutter, but why don't you use Duff roses? They're really fast and easy.

You could also use your cutter to make hibiscus flowers:

Look in the photos from today and there is one that Danys did that has some flowers on it that you could make if you cut the petals apart and fanned them out. Here is the link http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1484337
