I have a can of Wilton gum-tex that I purchased when taking Wilton courses to make gum paste. My question is if you can add the dry gum-tex to fondant to make it more like gum paste rather than using this to make a batch of gum paste. If so, how much would I add? TIA!!

This is what I add to my fondant all the time to make things like the bows and figures.

I don't measure. I just mix and add until it fills like I want it too. I think Wilton suggests a 1 teaspoon to have a box of fondant. Or maybe it is 1 teaspoon to a box of fondant. Hmmm.

The more you add the stiffer it will fill and the faster it will dry out.
