I am completing my first offical wedding cake and im just not happy. It is a two tier square cake naked cake apart from a couple of vertical fondant stripes on the base and 1 horizontal stripe on the top tier. (all requested by customer)
Other fondant cakes that i have done are usually not so naked...

I have charged the customer barely nothing so discount is not a option.

Customers are picking it up tomorrow afternoon!

Have you done everything the customer asked for? If so then no need to stress icon_smile.gif

We are our own worst critics at the best of times and sometimes the design the customer wants is not pleasing or appealing to us as a decorator.

Would love to see the cake is it in your pic? If not can you post a picture?

Your cake turned out great! I think it's very pretty and I'm sure that they are going to love it. Remember, it's what they want!

And I'm the same way - I see all the flaws that are in my cakes. Sometimes I even wonder why in the world I'm still doing this. But cake civilians don't see everything that we see. They see a beautiful cake!

Be proud of it!
