Hi guys, I'm making a Boston RedSox baseball hat for a groom's cake this Sunday...I'm also doing the wedding cake and am limited for time the day before.

The cake/filling won't need refrigeration, so I'm wondering if I can do the hat two days ahead since it's the most detailed piece, with the stitching, brim, etc.

My question is, if I do it two days in advance, will the blue fondant be likely to change color if it's not kept in the light? Thanks for any advice!

The fondant will be just fine as long as you keep it in the dark. If there's any light, it will start to fade.
