Does anyone have any suggestions on how to darken Wilton's violet to a deeper purple? I've added so much violet but it is still not dark enough.

I add a small amount of black - if you do it gradually you will see the colour darken.

Next time, you could start with chocolate icing, then you won't have to add so much, as the color will darken more quickly.
