I have a 50th wedding anniversary cake to do in two weeks and the clients are set on having the cake iced in whipped cream. I need a way to get the whipped cream for the accents to be gold colored. I didn't know if anyone had any tips they would like to share on how I can color it gold. And if anyone has run a thread on this then please point me in the right direction.

Much Thanks

The closest you will be able to get is golden yellow. You cannot metalicize whipped cream.

I used bakery crafts gold airbrush color in whipped cream roses for anniversary cake and it looked great. Just airbrush flowers on the nail and then transfer onto cake.

thanks for the tips.... I warned the client when we were discussing the gold color that more than likely the closest I would be able to get would be more of a yellow than gold. Ill look into the airbrush color..Once again thanks. icon_smile.gif
