Whats the best way to deal with a tear in your fondant?
I've seen sheets of fondant used on bigger cakes where it took two sheets. How do they get such a perfect seam?

For small tears I've melted same color fondant with a drop of water & "painted" over the tear.

I'll have to try that painting idea....sometimes for seams I take royal icing in matching color and pipe it into the seam, then rub smooth with my finger.
