Hi everyone, I am new to the cake making adventures!! I want to make a drum set cake for my husbands 24 birthday next weekend!! I have all the ideas on how to do the floor tom, the snare and the cymbals, but am lost on how to do the base drum. It would be a round cake on its side. but how would I support it? And if you all have more ideas on how to the rest of the kit, advice is greatly appreciated!! I await help!! icon_smile.gif

I did one, it's on my website under anniversary cakes but it is a small RKT drum set on a sheet cake. I have however done an aquarium cake which was an 8" on it's side and it stood very well unsupported. It is on my site under birthday cakes youth. Good luck with your cake.
