I am making a cake and when I put the wire in the wire falls out. How do I get it to stay in the cake?

I was having the problem too, my hubby told me to use a coffee stirr to support the wire up. Instert the coffe stirr where you want in the cake, then put the wire in and then take a small piece of fondant to secure it dosent move... I know there are probably more ways to do this but this works for me...hope it helps you too... icon_smile.gif

I use either a coffee stir stick or a drinking straw. Either of those also prevent direct contact of the wire with the cake, too, so you don't get any metal reaction with the cake.

I use a drinking straw that fill with melted chocolate. I stick the wires in the straw and when the choc. cools, they stay in place.
