I thought I would try out a stencil, which is about 4.5" by 12.5", and obviously thin. The cost was $18, but the estimated shipping was $7.15 for USPS. I noticed it was just an estimation, but this seems very high! Is there any way to find out what the actual shipping would be? Zip code is 23434. Thanks!

Your best bet is to call them directly or send them an email. You'll get your answer faster.

if you just want to practice using a stencil to see if you like doing it, buy a regular craft stencil at Michaels or AC Moore, cheap and no shipping. I use them all the time in cookie and cake decorating. HTH
