Has anyone ever applied an edible image to fondant/gumpaste to make a cake topper? I found the cutest pic of Curious George peeking out from under a hat that would be perfect for my son's birthday cake. I was thinking that if I applied it to fondant or gumpaste (or a 50/50 mix) that was cut out to the same shape it would be a perfect cake topper, but I'm not sure that it would work. I've only used an edible image once and it was on the side of a BC cake and I've searched the forums but not found anything on this particular subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA --Jen

I found a few threads on this topic and tried to post them, but my browser keeps freaking out and losing my posts. Here is what I still have... There are lots more out there..
