Hey guys!
How many cupcakes would you make opening day of your shop? I don't want to over do it, but then again I don't want to run out. Especially since people are already looking forward to it in the area. What's your suggestion on this. TIA

Well, are you selling them individually? Is the first batch, the only batch? Are they at the point of sale, or off to the side?

Edit: Also take into consideration...how long are you going to be open? What hours?

If you sell individual cupcakes I would start with a dozen of decorated cupcakes. But would bake 5 dozen. If you sell by dozen I would have 6 dozen ready. It would help if you could have someone to bake that day if needed. It is hard to say how many you can sell since I do not know your location.

They are sold individually but can be purchased by the dozen if requested
