Hi all,

I am making a castle cake and want to do the walls seperate and let them harden before placing them. How much Tylose powder do you need to add to fondant for it to harden like gumpaste?

For example one recipe MM fondant?

Thanks so very much. (It is to expensive to buy that much gumpaste!)

If you have the Tylose, how about making a batch of Nicholas Lodge's gumpaste...all it takes are 4 egg whites and 2 lbs powdered sugar to go with the Tylose...cheaper than a batch of MMF, easy to make, and works really well.
