I was so grateful to find a chocolate version of the WASC on the message boards. I had 2 failed chocolate cakes before I tried it and was getting so worried!
This was for my cousin's wedding, her colors were pink and orange. She wanted something funky and fun so this is what my friend and I came up with:
It was a dark chocolate cake, milk chocolate SMBC and white chocolate ganache under the fondant. I learned so much from reading about ganache and I loved it! The bottom two layers are styrofoam.
thats brilliant! so clean and geometric looking, really fab and its lovely to see something different. how did you do the toppers are they gumpaste?

They are 50/50 gumpaste/fondant. I showed my SIL some of Colette Peters' designs and she came up with those two.
Noey, I love your cake! I it looks great, the colors, style and squigglies in the top. The flavor combo sounds really good to me. I'd love to know what you learned about white chocolate ganache. I've made the dark chocolate but never the white. I think white chocolate ganache might be more difficult?
Lovely cake design beautifully executed.
FYI, there are two chocolate WASC cake recipes in CC's recipe section:
