I just got some clay tools from Joann...they're Studio by Sculpey and they're great. I got a set of 3 metal ball tools with plastic handles ($6 after coupon) and some leaf cutters with plastic veiners (think it was $6 too...made DH go in another line so we could each use a coupon).

Now I want all the rest of the cutters they make, plus more tools!!! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Nice! Those are awesome ~ great price too. I think the ball tool alone (with a big ball) was almsot $14 on some of the decorating sites. I love using products intented for "other" hobbies on cake instead. And shoot, gumpast/fondant is basically like edible sculptey clay anyway!

I bought the tools as well & love them! So much better than plastic & cheap, cheap, cheap with a coupon. I was so excited when I saw them. I so plan on buying some of the cutters as well.

Awesome! LOL. I also make my hubby go in the store with me and use a coupon. He hates it. Hehe.

But seriously, the other day I went into a JoAnn's and they didn't have one cake tool! That is terrible!!!!!! What is this world coming to?

The old Joanns here was like that, no cake tools at all...but they closed two smaller stores and made one giant one with more cake stuff than Michaels has. I didn't even know they had opened a new Joanns here until I wanted my tools and looked online for a closer location than the one I still knew about.

I also thought Joann's didn't carry cake decorating supplies. This is all good stuff to know. Thanks,

Get on their mailing list & you will receive more coupons. They are usually in our weekly paper also. You can use more than one coupon per visit as long as the last 3 digits on the bar code are not the same. You can also use one from Michaels & one from Joanns at the same time at either store. They have also allowed me to use multiple coupons as long as I have one item per coupon. Every store may not have the same policy but all you have to do is ask.
