I am making a stacked pumpkin wedding cake. I have a pretty good idea of how to do it but I would love to hear how others have done this. Any tips? I want them to look as realistic as possible and as good as possible. I am planning on airbrushing them to get the color. I have seen pictures of pumpkin cakes on here but none that I think are wedding cake worthy. Please give me your advice. Thank you![/img]
sorry I couldn't get my drawing to upload correctly. You can click on it and it will open the pdf.
I am sorry, but it is not opening for me.
Don't "right" click with your mouse to "show picture" just point and "left" click and it will open. (At least that's how I got it to open.)
Have you checked out this cake?

Imagine it in orange, and instead of the ribbon roses you could make acorns and leaves and berries.

Those don't really look like pumpkins though but thanks.
I cant open it either, but wow! that white cake is gorgeous and very pumpkin/cinderella theme.I love it.
I love the white cake! It would look more realistic if there were ridges carved into them. I agree with the acorn & berry idea too - the roses wold be out of place if you were trying to be more realistic.
