May sound like a simple question, but I can't seem to find it. What excatly am I looking for? I know it is not the same as all purpose or self rising flour, right?

I actually buy mine at the local grocery store, it is usually located in the baking isle and it will say cake flour right on the box.

At the supermarket in the baking isle. It will say cake flour. A couple of brand names are Presto and Swan.

Our Target carries it cheaper than my local grocery store.

It is usually in a box (the kind I buy is in a pink box, softasilk) not a bag like regular flour

Cake flour is usually sold in a box, not in a sack. Often it is shelved with the cake mixes, not with the other flours.

Softassilk

and

Swan's Down

are 2 national brands (US).

Basically, wherever you can find APF, you can find cake flour.
