16 Inch Pan

Anyone else have problems fitting a 16 inch square in the oven? I wonder if I can just seal it with foil, it's only a small opening. TIA

no you will not have good results

instead bake 4 8 inch square cakes and place them side by side and frost as one.

I'd do exactly as MsMeg says. If you really want to use a whole piece, elevate the 16 inch pan, because sometimes it will fit.
