I am doing a vanilla cake with butter cream....boring!!! Could i change this up by adding some wedding bouquet flavoring??? and what should i add it to the cake or buttercream??? I just got it in and am dieing to try it...cant you tell...lol. Please help...what is the exact flavor of wedding bouquet??? Is it citrusy?? THANKS!!!
You have an emulsion, not an extract so your flavor is much more intense. If adding to a batter, you should need only about 1 teaspoon and, yes, you can add your other extract (such as vanilla) as well. If using in your buttercream, only about 1/2 teaspoon. Most all emulsions have a citric acid base and if over used can add an acidic edge to your product. Many on CC love the flavor of Wedding Bouquet. I find it a little sharp. My personal favorite is Sweet Buttery Dough.
