Is there something "sparkly" I can add to piping gel to make it look like the Wilton sparkle gel? I'm doing a cake that needs a lava look and that would be perfect, but I would rather make my own than buy it if possible? TIA!

You could add luster dust and disco dust and it would give you what you want. Just buy the colors you need and be carefull with the reds- I have been told some of them have a purply/pink cast to them. You want dark red, orange, yellow. I have the red disco dust and it looks exactly like red glitter and the gold looks just like gold glitter. HTH
