Taking Wilton 3 class and this is my very first fondant cake. I am so thrilled to finally have this out of the way. Made Michele Foster's Fondant (chocolate) and it was so easy to work with!!

Thanks everyone for sharing your recipes!!

It looks great! You did a nice job covering a square cake, something a brave person would do.

Good luck with your journey in the cake decorating world.

Wow, I'm glad I DIDN'T know that (chocolate fondant is tricky) or I NEVER would have tried it for my first time working with fondant.

I am so excited to be doing this and every one of you has inspired me. To tell the truth, my blood pressure has gone down since learning of this passion.

I want to try a purse cake soon, what do you think? Should I wait and do other stuff first? I am going to do a topsy turvy wedding cake for a very close friend on Oct 3rd -- that should be interesting (never have done one of those either - I must be NUTS). I know if I get in a pinch you all will be there. Thank you for that!!

Well done. My first fondant cake was only a couple of months ago so i know the thrill you felt when yours turned out so great. It looks awesome.
I agree with Rylan that you're very ambitious trying fondant on a square cake, I haven't mustered up the courage to do that yet. You have some skills!!
Really great job. Thanks for sharing

I've got the fondant fever. This is for a little boy turning 4 tomorrow.

Thanks for whomever posted a picture of their cake similar to this so I could use it as a guideline.
