I would like to know if anyone has used chocolate modeling clay as a cover of a cake instead of fondant? My family does not like the taste of fondant but it is so pretty? Help!

What about marzipan, it works like fondant but has an almond taste to it...

I think marzipan taste 100 times worse than fondant & it's VERY expensive.

I just made chocolate MMF & it tastes like tootsie rolls. There's also a chocolate version on here too. http://cakecentral.com/recipes/2408/chocolate-marshmallow-fondant

I used MacsMom's version, but added 6 oz bittersweet chocolate to the marshmallows & added 1/4 c Hershey's Dark Cocoa (sifted) before I added the PS (b/c it needs less PS when you use cocoa. It had a dark chocolate flavor, but you could use regular cocoa & semi sweet chips if you wanted. i just used vanilla instead of butter flavor

How are you going to make your suitcase? I'm going to be making one in a few weeks and I haven't even thought about it.

Thanks!
