I just finished watching the DVD and all I can say is WOW icon_eek.gificon_eek.gificon_eek.gif . She broke it down so that even people who are artistically challanged (ummmm....ME) could follow the directions.

I can't wait to give a try!

Thank you, Edna for sharing your talent with us icon_biggrin.gif

Ta Da..........

It isn't as amazing as Teekakes but I'm the type who learnes by repetition. icon_redface.gif

It occured to me the same method could be used for the solid yellow and solid whilt lilies. what do you think.

Hey nannie,
Your Flower looks beautiful too, I also see you got yours done before me, I started mine last week, and never went back to it, I don't like how my pistils came out, so I ordered an extruder to make it, I guess I need to get up off of my lazy behind and finish it.

As I said yours is beautiful, Love your choice of color.

ok, here is the second one.

I think it's much better: a better job shaping the petals and definitly not as heavy handed with the colors.

You did awesome!!!..As for the colors.. Look for Stargazer lilies images on the internet. The range of colors is amazing. From the almost all white
to light shades of pink, to those who are a darker shade pf pink almost burgundy.

hee hee Edna, that's just what I did icon_lol.gif

I also downloaded some pics of the yellow and white lilies and I'm going to try them too.

White GP always looks so flat and lifeless to me. Can you suggest how to make them look more realistic? should I add jjust a little color?

thanks

Check this...look at the line in the center and the base..some shading in moss green will bring the best out on every flower. On the line go from deeper at the base to lighter at the top. then at the very tip ot the petal do it darker.

Your flower turned out really awesome too!..Love the fact that everyone colors are different...like in nature!
As for the pollen dust, I usually seen it in the shows like ICES and in Tulsa. I wonder if Alan in global art sells it..I usually go for the spices since they are so easily accesible.
