I would also like to know. The ones I've seen are not cheap so I want to make sure before spending the money...

I had the same question and I checked out a lot of cakes that had beads around the base of the layers and PM'd some of the decorators. It seemed like a lot of them used 8mm.

I actually don't like them....I know many do...but I think its just as fast to make them using a decorating tip and hand rolling then fighting with the silicone molds.

Well yeah you gotta learning curve with the short ones but the long one--I mean I have to talk myself out of sleeping with it under my pillow.

The long one that has different sizes.

These are 12 beautiful inches long--be still my beating heart.

I like the little short ones too. But those ^^^ are killer!

And I mean you roll a skinny sausage and press it in viola--no learning curve like the little short stubby ones.
