I recently made shells for decoration on a cake. I had a Wilton Choc. mold in the shape of shells, and used white and choc. candy melts marbled together to make the shells. It was very easy to do.

I've made them before with white chocolate, I then added a little of detail with luster dusts.
You can buy molds online or at your local cake/craft store.
Here's a pic.
