I am using bavarian chocolate cream fillings from Global Sugarart (2 lb pkg). I'd like it to be 1/2 inch thick but I'm afraid the weight of the cake might squish it down.

Have you used this? Do you ever add anything to it?

Also, how much do you use on your cake? I have to do a 6", 9" and 12"

I havent used the cocolate bavarian cream filling but I have used the regular bavarian cream and the fruit sleeves and as long as your buttercream dam is thick and strong, you need not worry. They say each of those bags have three cups. I usually used about 2 maybe 2 1/2 for a three tier cake. I would get three just to be safe. Good Luck!
