I am really bad at drawing out sketches for my cakes. Is there a program to draw out cakes w/ color design details out there? This would be so cool, cause I cant draw worth a darn.

There's a program called Wedding Cake Design Pro that will generate sketches of cakes.

I've also seen templates that you could print out and then draw on. I think there are some in the galleries here.

I just use photoshop to do my sketches. I've saved some of the templates from the gallery and I just open the template and do my sketching, I just have to make sure I change the file name before I save it. icon_smile.gif

For my sketches, I use inkscape - it is free and quite easy to learn. It is a vector drawing program - meaning you need to learn it, but then it is easy to manipulate and change design details.

Still, nothing beats a good drawing. I wish I could draw like some people here on CC!
