seems like there was a contest a while back on that theme or maybe it was gothic...lets go check the galleries. This could be a fun cake!
hmmm.....some really cool halloween wedding cakes out there, goth and nightmare before christmas, but nothing haunted house that caught my eye.
Not a cake but a neat image for idea's.

I saw one on cake wrecks but it was to show what a great job they did.
They used Frankenstein and the bride of Frankenstein for the toppers, but the cake itself was a round 3 tierd cake.
But what they did was make it look like 3 different wedding cakes stitched together to form one cake.
It was really well done
I think you could get some great ideas for some of the decorations here:

I love this one from the wedding cake contest.

I'm doing one on Halloween that they definitely wanted a Halloween look but not too little kid-ish and their colors are silver and purple. So, we've decided on three tiers with a castle on top...bottom tier light silver, middle medium silver, the top dark silver, and the castle black and starting ont he bottom there is going to be purple scroll work working it's way up the cake with black bats interspersed among the scrolls...inspired by a cake in Wilton's 2010 yearbook (see attached)
