So....after making several cakes I was completely exhausted and put all the Wilton cake pans I used (six pf them) into the dishwasher.

When I opened the dishwasher I gasped. They were completely ruined. They looked corroded and felt stick. I tried to hand wash them but it did nothing.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what to do to save these pans???

Are they still usable??

PLease help!!!!!

they may not be as attractive, but don't you dare throw them away...the dullness will not affect them one single bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

shiny does NOT = good or workable.

go look at the pans in a professional/commercial bakery -- a dark brown to black from all kinds of baked on oils.

they'll work just fine.

just use cake release like you always do.
